Ciarla created her unique collection of bridesmaid dresses to last longer than the affair. The concept is to incorporate the bridal party color palette and allow each bridesmaid to choose silhouettes that flatter their figure, resulting in a gorgeous sweep of the bride’s chosen scheme and bridesmaids who are actually delighted to wear the dresses on the big day, and again afterwards.
The premier collection includes modern classics, which are intended to be mixed and matched for a unique complement to a bride’s personal style. Not like the typical bridal line, ‘CIARLAbride’ collections are created with a high-fashion vision, wherein a mood board is developed, swatches in prints and unique fabrics are chosen and a visionary collection is created to transform a poetic dream into reality. The cohesion of color ensures that the bridal party will be as stunning as anything the bride could have ever envisioned.
Not content to focus solely on the bridesmaids, Ciarla will be debuting an eco-conscious, luxury couture collection – ‘Ciarla Heirloom’ - which focuses on reworking vintage wedding dresses into one-of-a-kind couture wedding gowns. Dresses will be transformed, hand-painted, stained and draped with new silk fabrics to complement each bride’s individual taste and create a vision that suits her personal style.
Ciarla has immersed herself in every aspect of fashion – from styling, magazine editorial, even a stint in fashion public relations. It is this commitment to her craft that makes her a stand out in her industry, and she has since been slated to consult for some of today's most prestigious fashion labels. So sought after are her skills that her clients ask her to sign confidentiality agreements so their competitors won't get wind of her; she is their secret weapon.
Ciarla received her BA in Communications at California Polytechnic State University and her Fashion Design Certificate from Parsons in New York City. She currently lives between Los Angeles and New York with her puppy, Saffron.
